About the photograph
This iconic pink house sits on the edge of Loch Glass, nestled deep in the eastern Scottish Highlands. The house was built in the 1970s by a Dutch man who owned the Loch Glass estate at the time. However the property was never fully completed and has never actually been lived in! Instead, this pink building has only ever housed pigs and wild boars.
It now sits derelict and abandoned, although it somehow always remains to be painted perfectly pink…
